About the Race

Running on the Trail

Follow a picturesque 5km route through Eagle Harbour to the Seaview Trail. This trail offers impressive views of Fisherman’s Cove and Burrard Inlet framed by windswept conifers and arbutus trees.

The participants will access the trail off Cranley Drive at Nelson Creek.

Race Start

The race starts (and ends) at Parc Verdun located in the 5500 block of Marine Drive at Keith Road (just west of Westport Road).

Race Route

The 5km route, goes down Keith Road, up Eagle Harbour Road, up Cranley Drive to the Seaview Trail. The route continues on the trail to a turn around at the half-way point of the route and runners return the same way to Parc Verdun.

Parking

Parking is available along Gallagher Place and along Marine Drive.

There is also limited parking at Eagle Harbour Primary School at the corner of Westport and Marine.

Please do not try to drive onto Keith Road on Race Day.

Community Improvements

Money raised by the run has helped pay for several improvements to Parc Verdun. The run works with the wodnerful team at West Vancouver Parks to plan and implement improvements leveraging community raised funds with Parks department resources.

I have participated in a number of races around the world. The secret of a great event is a passionate race organizing team that provides a great route, post race food, a goodie bag with memorabilia like a shirt, a convenient location and great prizes. The Eagle Harbour Fun run has all of these successful elements. On top of this one gets to enjoy this event with family and friends. I have enjoyed participating in this event and look forward to running another one with my wife and kids.
